A parked project is a goal that has been reduced to its paperwork — the domain, the logo, the business plan, the folder titled "new novel" — and kept technically alive through small renewals instead of the one thing that would actually start it. Maintaining the props feels like progress, which is exactly what lets it sit for years.
A parked car still has a full tank. It has just never once left the driveway.
