Invisible expertise is having real, hard-won skill that you never turn into anything visible — a post, a video, a guide — because you think of it as just the job, not something anyone would pay to learn. The knowledge that took you years to earn disappears the moment you walk away from the work, leaving nothing behind but a paycheck.
What you call "just the job" is worth real money to somebody who hasn’t learned it yet.
What to do about it
Write down one specific mistake you don’t make anymore and the exact fix that stopped it — one sentence. That sentence is the first thing you’ve ever published.
